New Construction Inspection

 New construction inspections from IDR monitor the home building process at critical building stages to verify that the construction is sound and provides you with the information you need to make informed decisions about your new home. 

 IDR combines experience in construction with thorough evaluation, technical research, analysis, and interpretation of information to diagnose damages and building defects and their probable causes.

To support construction defect investigations, IDR relies on an intensive site survey of existing conditions, thorough document review, expert analysis, and convincing testimony. IDR researches and analyzes all available documentation and prepares detailed reports describing cause and origin of construction defects and, if necessary, recommendations for repairs. We engage early in construction defect cases to assist with collection and interpretation of information. Our reports can be instrumental in facilitating subsequent phases of litigation such as mediation and expert witness testimony during depositions and trial.

Client Rep:

Acting as a client's representative on construction projects IDR will;

Keep the client fully informed on progress and budget performance and ensuring that they are fully aware of all their obligations and in a timely manner throughout the project process.

Selection and appointment of all planning teams, design teams, contractors and subcontractors, 

Manage and coordinate the design team activities through the planning, design and construction phase.

Coordinate and manage all interfaces with planners, utility service providers and other statutory requirements.

Administration of all project contracts on behalf of the client.

IDR also involves knowing and researching projects to identify gains for the stakeholders by examining planning and value engineering.
